| Chief Judicial Magistrate Sandhya Srivastava sent 14 Lucknow University students, who were arrested for showing black flags to the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Aditya Nath Yogi, on Wednesday to 14-day judicial custody on Thursday. The students had breached security of the CM and blocked the route for 45 minutes on Wednesday, when the latter was on his way to attend a programme in LU. The court summoned the entire case diary on Friday for considering bail pleas of students. |

| RBI on Wednesday said nearly 83 per cent of the currency has been remonetised so far and denied shortage of cash in the system. “According to our latest data, 82.67 per cent of the currency has been remonetised and in volume terms, it is 108 per cent,” RBI deputy governor B P Kanungo told. |
