Haryana Police has released a list of 43 people wanted for the violence that broke out after Dera chief’s conviction in rape cases last month. Topping the list are Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of Ram Rahim and his heir apparent, and Aditya Insan, a key Dera functionary and spokesperson. Both are on the run and have lookout notices issued against them. A high alert has been sounded on the Indo-Nepal border, as it is suspected that Honeypreet could attempt to sneak into the neighbouring country from Uttar Pradesh.

The Centre told the Supreme Court (SC) today that it has intelligence inputs of links between some Rohingya Muslims and Pakistan’s ISI and the Islamic State. The Centre further said in its affidavit in the SC that militant elements among the Rohingya are active in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mewar and Jammu. It added that it will place all intelligence inputs in a sealed envelope before the apex court on October 3 to prove its claim that Rohingyas are a security threat to the nation.
Tamil Nadu assembly Speaker P Dhanapal today disqualified 18 AIADMK MLAs who are supporting sidelined party deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran. The Speaker has taken action under schedule 10 of the Indian constitution which leads to their (MLAs) disqualification.. They can no longer hold their posts, said a statement issued by assembly secretary K Boopathy. The speaker had summoned all the rebel MLAs to appear before him. However, only a few of them appeared before him despite the speaker sending notices to all a couple of times.

Infosys Senior Vice President Sanjay Rajagopalan has resigned from his post. In his LinkedIn profile, Rajagopalan described himself as a “free man” and mentioned that he was employed with Infosys from August 2014 to September 2017, a duration of three years and two months. Rajagopalan was among the dozen executives whom Vishal Sikka had roped in from SAP, the company where he used to be CTO.
The US flew four stealth fighter jets and two bombers over the Korean peninsula today in a show of force. Four F-35B stealth fighters and two B-1B bombers flew over the peninsula to “demonstrate the deterrence capability of the US-South Korea alliance against North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats“, South Korea’s defence ministry said in a statement. The US jets few alongside four South Korean F-15K jet fighters as part of “routine” training, the statement said.
