Leprosy: Decoding the most misunderstood disease

Leprosy has been prevalent since ancient times but is still surrounded by innumerable myths.

These myths add to the stigma around leprosy because of which infected people hesitate to seek treatment, resulting in further worsening and transmission of the disease. Hence, on World Leprosy Day (January 30) we debunk popular myths about and around leprosy.
