| Special NIA judge K Ravinder Reddy resigned just hours after pronouncing the judgment in the Mecca Masjid blast case. Sources in legal circles said Reddy, additional metropolitan sessions judge in Hyderabad, had cited personal reasons in his resignation letter. The judge, who was on the verge of superannuation, immediately proceeded on 15 days’ leave. Yesterday, all five accused in the blast case were acquitted due to lack of evidence. |

| CBI has filed a charge sheet against Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav along with 11 others in the IRCTC case. | Isro and French space agency CNES are working together on inter-planetary missions like Mars, Venus and asteroid projects. The collaboration on interplanetary missions is part of the joint vision for space cooperation which India and France agreed upon during signing of an MoU last month.
