He has been out on bail after Scotland Yard arrested him on April 18 this year, acting on India's formal extradition request for him on February 8. The 61-year-old chief of the now-defunct Kingfisher Airlines fled India last year in March and has been living in <a href=”http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/vijay-mallya-arrested-in-london-in-money-laundering-case/articleshow/60925479.cms”>Britain </a>since then.<br />   |

| US scientists Rainer Weiss, Barry Barish and Kip Thorne won the 2017 Nobel Prize for detection of gravitational waves. “This is something completely new and different, opening up unseen worlds,” the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said in a statement announcing the winners of the 9 million Swedish crown ($1.1 million) award. |
