CBSE today decided to re-conduct the examinations for Economics (Class 12th) and Mathematics (Class 10). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a circular on Wednesday informing about the re-examination and said dates and other details for it would be posted on the board’s website. According to sources, PM Narendra Modi spoke to HRD minister Prakash Javadekar and conveyed his unhappiness at the paper leak issue. Read more

Donald Trump said there is now a good chance North Korea’s Kim Jong-un will give up his country’s nuclear weapons. Facebook announced a series of privacy changes it was making to give users more control over their data. Ahead of the entry into force of a landmark European Union data protection law in May, the social network will add a new “Privacy Shortcuts” menu which will let users review what they’ve shared and delete it, as well as features enabling them to download their data and move it to another service.
Cambridge Analytica whistleblower today tweeted details of company’s links with India and mentioned JD(U) in document. Christopher Wylie, who exposed the data breach scandal involving Facebook, attached a document to his Twitter post, detailed the company’s India operations, a day after his testimony to the UK parliament. The document has the name of the Janata Dal (United).
