The Economic Offences Wing took over the probe in PanCard Clubs case. More than 50 lakh investors were allegedly duped of approximately Rs 7,035 crore in the scam. A US channel has suggested that Adam’s Bridge or Ram Setu between India and Sri Lanka may have been built by humans. The stones in the image sit on a ‘sandbar’, which occurs in areas with shallow water. Analysis of the rocks found on the sea bed shows that they predate the sand.

The Doklam standoff had put “severe pressure” on India-China ties, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi told Sushma Swaraj.
