Latest figures collated by TOI show that road accidents claim the lives of over 350 soldiers, sailors and airmen every year, while another 120 personnel take the extreme step of committing suicide.

According to the NHA, India’s total health expenditure in 2014-15 worked out to Rs 3,826 per person. Of this, what people had to spend from their own pockets was Rs 2,394 (63 per cent).

This is the first time that Saeed has openly talked about contesting elections himself. In the past, Saeed has backed PML(N) chief Nawaz Sharif.
