India’s organised sector created 4.16 lakh jobs in 2016-17, said the quarterly report released by labour ministry. The rate of job creation was 2% higher than 2015-16 with over 1,100 jobs being created per day. The last quarter of 2016-17 which was hit by the demonetisation, saw much higher job creation than the previous three quarters of the year. Pakistan has defended the participation of Palestinian ambassador at JuD chief Hafiz Saeed’s event. At least 1 CRPF Jawan was martyred and two were injured in a terrorist attack on CRPF Training Centre in J&K’s Pulwama. The attack took place in the wee hours on Sunday when terrorists hurled grenades and opened fire to enter the 185th battalion camp of the CRPF in Lethpora. The injured have been rushed to a hospital and senior CRPF and J&K police officers have reached the CRPF camp, said officials.
