India will launch South Asia Satellite on May 5 for the benefit of the entire region, PM Modi said. “We have always attempted to move ahead with the concept of ‘sabka sath, sabka vikas (cooperation of all, development for all),” Modi said describing it as a ‘priceless gift’. Seven out of the eight SAARC countries are part of the project. However, Pakistan refused to join as it did not want the “gift” from India.

India recorded a facile 3-0 victory over New Zealand in their second match of the 26th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament today.
