A vehicle rammed into crowd near a mosque in north London. The Muslim Council tweeted that worshippers were struck by a van as they were leaving prayers at the Finsbury Park mosque. Several casualties are feared in the attack and the injured are being taken for treatment. One person has been arrested by the UK police so far. The Finsbury Park mosque was associated with extremist ideology after the 9/11 attacks in the United States but was shut down and reorganized. It has not been associated with radical views for more than a decade.

GST may be rolled out from the central hall of Parliament on July 1. Government sources said a mega launch for GST is planned, where the focus is on ensuring that consumers gain from the initiative through lower incidence of taxes as the cascading effect of multiple taxes &mdash; from central excise and VAT to service tax and entry taxes &mdash; is done away with. PM Modi asked his ministers to prepare a report card of their departments in a month.
