As many as 245 income tax commissioners have been transferred across the country based on their performance. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has transferred all officers facing vigilance or other disciplinary charges, as well as those who have held a post for two years or. The mercy petition of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav is being reviewed by Pakistan’s army chief.
