Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Netherlands today on the final leg of his three-nation tour. He will have an official meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and call on King Willem-Alexander and meet Queen Maxima. He would also be meeting with CEOs of major Dutch companies and encourage them to join the Indian growth story.
Former cricketer Ravi Shastri is likely to submit his application for the position of Indian cricket coach. Shastri, 55, will join Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Lalchand Rajput, Dodda Ganesh and Richard Pybus on the list of contenders. He had been critical of the BCCI committee comprising Tendulkar, Ganguly and VVS Laxman, that picked Anil Kumble over him for the coach’s role last year.
