​ India conveyed to Pakistan that it will appeal against the death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav. “I have asked for a certified copy of the chargesheet as well as the judgment in the death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav,” Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad Gautam Bambawale said.

As many as 36 suspected IS militants were killed when the US dropped “the mother of all bombs”, the Afghan defence ministry said. “No civilian has been hurt and only the base which Daesh used to launch attacks in other parts of the province was destroyed,” defemce ministry spokesman Dawlat Waziri said in a statement.

The Centre is planning to direct states to take action against illegal imposition of service charge in hotels. “Service charge does not exist. It is being wrongly charged. We have prepared an advisory on this issue. We have sent it to the PMO for approval,” food and consumer affairs minister Ram Vilas Paswan Paswan said. Levying of service charge without seeking customer consent will be considered as unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act.
